Makers of Manners - uncommon accessories

Head-wear and neck-wear made in woven, knitted and hybrid constructions, created in a Catskills workshop. Half the time is spent finding the materials, though sometimes I realize they're right in front of me. Other yarns and fabrics are sourced in rural Japan, reduced from Woolrich blankets, picked from a defunct PA trim factory or purchased from a good old-fashioned US cotton mill.
The next project is knitting some luxury alpaca yarn from a farm in central Oregon in a Scottish factory in Texas.
